SAFIRE Release Notes |
These release notes are intended to outline the improvements and enhancements addressed by each
SAFIRE release.
The issues resolved by each release are uniquely identified and referenced via a Report ID, defined
by document ICAO EANPG SG11 WP15, and a BR number, assigned by DW International's internal bug
reporting system.
Noteworthy issues resulting in major functional modifications and any miscellaneous enhancements are
listed in separate sections.

Noteworthy
To prevent double submission and possible data corruption [BR44] during critical operations, the
browser back and refresh buttons now return the user to their homepage. To return to the
previous page, users should use the provided ‘return to previous screen’ links where possible.
The refresh button may still be applied to non-critical areas such as unauthenticated pages and
the user’s homepage.
To prevent fatal email failure [BR56], all sent emails are now persisted in the database and
dispatched on a 10 minute cycle. Successfully dispatched emails are purged from database; failed
emails remain persisted until the next successfully dispatched cycle.
